In some places -coughUScough- a surefire way to start a fight would be to talk about two things - “Is climate change really happening” and “Who is to blame for climate change?”
Answer: Yes it is, and you are. You, you and you.
Regardless of where one stands on the ‘is climate change is real’ argument, statistics have shown that global average temperature has risen by 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit over the last century.
And that sea levels are rising due to the increases in global average temperatures. You know how you’ve always wanted to visit Venice after your retirement?
Well, better retire in the next decade or so, for this unstoppable force is making Earth’s seawater levels rise to higher levels every year and Venice is very likely to be submerged in 50 years’ time.
